May Day 2023 Message

HAPPY MAY DAY !!! 

Do you remember? 

Do your schools still do it? 

 

What are, if any, your memorable May Days? 

  Mine are:

    1. The teachers trying to help we kids weave a Maypole around the flagpole, our total student count for grades 1-8 was averaging eight (8) students;  

    2. One year we drove out of Paris (France) not remembering it was May Day and then not knowing that it was a French holiday. Traffic was stop and go for miles and miles heading out of town; and 

 

    3. I think we picked wildflowers; violets and dandelions grew wild in the school grounds and in the roadsides. (They were also the first flowers that I remember the names of.)
