Through the Marshes at South Louisiana

Day Twenty-six of March Spiky Squares!
[where Becky of Winchester's other entries are]

On our last week end holiday jaunt we took a side trip on our way to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  It went South before Lake Charles and came back to I-10 after Lake Charles.  Basically it was going to and driving along the South Louisiana shore of the Gulf Coast, Gulf of Mexico.

We drove through the marshes there, saw wild life and lottts of water.   Then on the way back up and out we had a nice Ferry Boat ride across the Inter Coastal Canal, we took a bridge coming down, and ended up at Cameron, La.  You may have heard or will hear of the hurricanes coming to or near this town.

At Cameron we stopped to have a very nice Fried Shrimp Oyster Poboy sandwich.  It was about the best I have ever had.  You can see more about our little trip and the poboy's restaurant source here.

Becky is the keeper of the Square stuff.  March is Spiky Squares.  The picture has to be square.  Mine is "CD Cover" squared according to Picasa 3, my photo helper app but discontinued. Becky's posts can be seen at the link above.
