A Fish, a Bird, Spiky Plants, and Spiky Shadows
[where Becky of Winchester's other entries are]
The Fish, to the left of the bird, is rubbery, has a yellow body and green fins, and carries a Water Thermometer (72°) dangling down in the water.
(same for Air Temp at 11:00 AM and low 80's in the afternoon)
I don't know what kind of bird it is, probably a dove as we have a lot of those. She is cooling her feet, getting a drink, and getting a break from the kids (or letting Hubby have a turn at the nest, duno). They love to sit on the edge of the Hot Tub Spa.
The Green Spikies are Ferns, the light colored frond in front will probably die.
I was surprised that the ferns would make nice Spiky SHADOWS like this. I only took the picture from inside the living room window to catch the bird without scaring it away.
View our pool here (in Spring) and here (in Winter). Note: we only have snow about every ten years, the snow picture was taken last year. The other one a few weeks ago.
