London Update

This really should be titled a

"Youngest Granddaughter Update"

 

 

KP in her Fall pre-kindergarten school uniform

KP was so happy to see her Mimi yesterday
We met them at her school and
she skipped all the way home

This is a bird's nest that KP made in school this week for the letter "N" (nest)
It is sitting in a predominate location waiting for the little birdies to hatch out

Please don't worry about the eggs hatching.  We aren't.

The ingredients for her creation:
Molten chocolate
Six candy chocolate candy coated bird eggs
Ample amount of corn flakes cereal
One small aluminum baking pan
 

Drinking Coffe and Having a Graham Cracker for Mid-morning Snack

Topped off with a bottle and a mid-morning nap.

KP likes it here with us and our retired living lifestyle.

Oh yes, KP had water in her coffe cup.

This blue and white quilt was my (Jim's) baby quilt.

My grandmother made it for me.
I don't know which grandmother,
I have two quilts, one from each.

I will never know.

We kept Karen's cat, Amber, too. I should have taken a picture of Karen, KP, and Amber with all the stuff we had over here in her Toyota Prius. She looked like she was moving.

These are pictures of our youngest granddaughter, Baby KP. She spent Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights with us. Karen came after her work on Friday and they both left Saturday at noon.

The first four are taken in the car seat, just before they left for home.

Just in case you were wondering what we had at the brunch, this is pretty much it. Today there weren't any pancakes or waffles, some days there are.

I did have coffee, not in the picture, to drink. Karen had Diet Coke, her standby.
