Gobs of spikes in that field behind the two birds, a few out front.

 

We found these Pelicans perched on a pipe, watching cars go by. I'm not sure they cared much about the car or its driver or passengers. 

Unless there is a celebrity in the car. Then they take pictures and not down notes.  I'm not privy as to what will happen next.

 A Quilt in the Making

A couple of weeks ago we visited my SIL and Hub in North Louisiana.  On Wednesday night we went to they took us to their church for a devotional and prayer meeting.  We were privileged to see this fine quilt that the ladies are making.  It will be given away to someone who is deserving and down.   

 

This quilt is being made from fabric scraps to make it a quilt of many colors.  I'm not sure when it will be finished, it takes a a month or more for the ladies to make one.  I would like to have this one or one like it.  At home we had homemade quilts for bedding, both grandmothers quilted while they were able.
