My Grandchildren

Where were your grandchildren today;    Or if you don't have some, where were
you; that your grandmother would care

From youngest to oldest I pray
Where are they what are they doing
It is a mean crazy world today
How there do those grandchildren cope

Lovely granddaughters I have four
Oldest two working at their homes
Both married, one mother of two

Younger two school has been their thing
One, college grad, now at D.C.
At White House front she's protesting
The younger's home, in junior high
Works Soduko, beats me at Clue

My two grandsons do their own thing

Keep good tabs on your grandchildren
Stay in good terms and good graces

One day soon they'll be watching you

  1. It’s wonderful to have grandchildren. I only have one and he is still a toddler but growing up quickly. God advice in the final lines, Jim!

  2. Nice lines Jim. I am thankful I live in the same city as my parents and my mother in law. My children get to enjoy a lot of their attention and love

  3. Yes it is good to have grandchildren and see and to interact with them too. Luckily mine all live in the same state as me so that makes it easier.

  8. I have no grandchildren but maybe someday. In the meantime, I'll stick with caring for the trees. It sounds like you my be having great-grandchildren soon, perhaps? I agree to keep them close.
