Eighth Tree for 2022, it is ours

 MERRY CHRISTMAS

Our tree sits in a corner of our living room, visible
from the front door but next to the back windows.

The LSU Santa is Mrs. Jim's for her alma mater,
two degrees, a Bachelor's degree in English and
History, and a Master's in Social Work.
The LSU Tiger Santa is fairly new, the other,
a Mrs. Santa, we've had since the 1970's.

Bottom Nativity Scene was our younger
daughter's when she was growing up
many years ago.  We also have another
Nativity scene, permanently in our living room.

Seventh Tree for 2022

MERRY CHRISTMAS
Could you guess where we had lunch today?
Hint, this was in a corner between the restrooms and the cashier.

Yes, our old favorite Mexican restaurant in Willis, Texas.

We both had water, Cokes cost a third of the price of our entree.  $3.25 vs. $9.99.  I had a Chile Relleno, Mrs. Jim had three Chicken Enchiladas.  Those orders came with sides of Beans and Rice.  Chips and Salsa were free.

Fifth Tree, etc. of 2022

MERRY  CHRISTMAS!!

The Christmas Train, top level

Our church has two sets of toy/model train displays, one near the entrance of the south and north in the entry corridor of our church.  This one is to be found in the south.

[Reward yourself, click on any photo for larger viewing,

This would be the setting of the trains in the lobby of the church.  Also showing are the several sets of train tracks for the other trains.

The ladies with a little help assembled the layout, made the trains run, and added an artist aura for the trains.

Children and adults love to watch the trains both before and after services.

The ice-skating rink is at the north end of this display, the upper photos show the south end.  Note the detail, the horse drawn sleigh and the snowy roofed lodge.  Items like this are scattered around the display, you can see some of them in the pictures above.

I plan to take photos to post from the north display soon, possibly I'll take them and post after church next week.

Our church is one of the seven campuses of the Second Baptist Church of Houston.  It is located on the 1463 Hwy between I-10 West and Hwy 1093.  If you are in neighborhood you could come for a visit, services are at 9:30 AM and at 11:00 AM on Sundays.
