Poem ~~ Leaving the Desert
Happy
I walked through the touch screen that day
Happy that I was free once more
O fingers would poke and tickle
Leaving tales I'd now be privy
Leaving the desert is easy
You'll please leave your shoes by the door
Let the fingers tread on your toes
Read the latest hot tweets and poems
Folks think they live in a mirage
Being born here, they put on airs
They've been poked too much, head to toe
Counting electrons day and night

Folks think they live in a mirage
Being born here, they put on airs
They've been poked too much, head to toe
Counting electrons day and night

Leaving your shoes at the door is a must with all that desert sand. love this Jim! A wonderful write!
I love walking through the screen and seeing other places, visiting friends, reading poems. Loved this, Jim!
Leaving the shoes by the door and the sand behind is wise advice! Applause for dreamers!
