#18 - 18th Christmas Tree post, NYC

It's time for my Christmas tree blog again this year. Today will be the eighteenth when I post it, I started December 05, a Tuesday.   Click here to see them for 2023-1 for the first and here for the later ones at 2023-2.

No, we weren't in NYC for this Christmas tree time, we have seen it before though.  I like to see the ice skating; this will be there until Spring.  The Rockefeller Center, left out of sight, has shows featuring among other things, the Rockets Dancers.

To the right, are the windows of the Today Show program, the outside visitors are in the open space between the lighted baron tree and the building.

Mrs. Jim and KP were there with the outside audience a day in 2022, I caught them with my camera of a saved 'replay' from our TV.   They enjoyed that visit and were enjoying others.  Their words were "We're from Houston!!"

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!

I.e., "Original" view

and now "Auto" enhanced

Keeping it pure

Until Christmas

My younger daughter, KP's Mom, made this little tree.  I don't have the details, but the shavings are from another block of Chocolate.

See all my 2021 Christmas Tree posts I have made so far here.  I will be posting Christmas trees and other Christmas decorations here as I take pictures to show. The blog is mostly Christmas oriented but also has recipes and other items that I don't put on my other blogs.

Those are my main blogs, there are others if you can find them. Only the first two of the above are regularly posted weekly.

I will post pictures of readers or their photo finds if you will email them to me at " jhovendic at yahoo.com". I will give you credit by name and/or URL of your blog or other if I have these where you wish my readers to read.

 Please do not be anonymous.

My Grandchildren

Where were your grandchildren today;    Or if you don't have some, where were
you; that your grandmother would care

From youngest to oldest I pray
Where are they what are they doing
It is a mean crazy world today
How there do those grandchildren cope

Lovely granddaughters I have four
Oldest two working at their homes
Both married, one mother of two

Younger two school has been their thing
One, college grad, now at D.C.
At White House front she's protesting
The younger's home, in junior high
Works Soduko, beats me at Clue

My two grandsons do their own thing

Keep good tabs on your grandchildren
Stay in good terms and good graces

One day soon they'll be watching you

KP spent some time with us between
Christmas and New Year's Day

Karen picked her up yesterday (31st)

She took this picture just for
the blog before she left.

This blue and white quilt was my (Jim's) baby quilt.
My grandmother made it for me.
I don't know which grandmother,
I have two quilts, one from each.
I will never know.

She goes to sleep as fast as her Papa Jim
Billy calls it a power nap

We kept Karen's cat, Amber, too. I should have taken a picture of Karen, KP, and Amber with all the stuff we had over here in her Toyota Prius. She looked like she was moving.

What part did the grandchild do and what did John do here?

Posted by Picasa
Friend John e-mailed this to me:
"Would you believe this tree decoration
was a Christmas gift from
one of the grandmonkeys? JAM"
[This is the first tree picture e-mailed to me, YET]
